The Space

Afton Ridge sits on more than two private acres and sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms — a king primary suite with private bath, a queen bedroom, and a twin bunk — plus a queen sleeper sofa for flexible arrangements. Inside, vaulted ceilings, skylights, and warm wood floors give the cabin an open, light-filled feel without sacrificing coziness. The layout works well for small groups and couples traveling together, with enough common space to gather and enough quiet corners to spread out. Outside, a spacious deck with panoramic mountain views is the natural center of the stay, complemented by a private hot tub for evenings under the stars. An on-site Level 2 EV charger is available for guests who need it.

Afton Ridge is five minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and positioned squarely in the heart of Nelson County wine and brewery country. Veritas Winery, Afton Mountain Vineyards, Cardinal Point, and Hazy Mountain Brewing are all within easy reach, with many more stops along the Nelson 151 Wine & Brew Trail just a short drive away. Outdoor enthusiasts will find the Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail and Humpback Rocks nearby, with Shenandoah National Park accessible within 20 minutes. Crozet is approximately 15 minutes away for dining and day-to-day needs.
